MY STORY

My career journey has come full circle in many ways. I began studying Psychology at university with the dream of becoming a child psychologist. However, after graduating, I felt the need for more life experience before committing to this path. I spent the first decade of my career in communications, successfully climbing the corporate and agency ladders. Like many others, my degree became a distant memory as I navigated life changes and focused on career progression.

In 2011, I rediscovered my passion for psychology, which became a turning point. I joined Lane4, a human performance consultancy, where I spent the next decade honing my skills as a Consultant and Coach. I learned how to create environments where people could thrive, drawing inspiration from those who excelled at the highest levels of sport, the arts, and business.

In the first 20 years of my career, I led departments and teams of 10+, worked with some of the world’s leading brands, and prided myself on building strong relationships and solving complex problems—all while keeping people at the heart of my work. But despite my success, I felt something was missing. I often felt like a square peg in a round hole. I experienced burnout (though I didn’t fully recognise it at the time), which led me to question my purpose and how I could truly make a difference.

I also achieved many personal milestones during this period, including running two marathons and trekking in the Himalayas. These experiences taught me to appreciate the journey as much as the destination.

In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, I took the bold step of pursuing my dream of setting up my own coaching and consulting practice. I took voluntary redundancy with newfound clarity and purpose and launched my business. Since then, I have coached over 150 people from all walks of life, consulted with organisations on significant culture changes, led the delivery of leadership development programmes, and designed an Academy series focused on confidence, communication, and performance.

Over the past five years, I have also dedicated myself to meditation and mindfulness practices, which have profoundly shaped my perspective. I’ve developed a deeper connection with nature, learning from its rhythms and seasons, and recognising how we are all interconnected within a wider ecosystem. This personal growth has empowered me to take leaps in my business and life that my younger self could never have predicted.
I integrate these insights into my work, helping clients unlock their potential, connect more deeply with their purpose, and achieve meaningful transformation. My greatest sense of fulfilment comes from creating a positive ripple effect—empowering others to grow, lead authentically, and navigate an uncertain world with greater ease and confidence.
